Child Protection Case Management Project (Extend 2018 January to May)

Our Project of Child Protection Case Management is supported by the UNICEF through funding and technically supported by the “Save the Children Myanmar”. This project will be implemented at the following townships until the May of 2018. There is also referral network at the townships where the project has been completed. For this referral network, we cooperate with the department of Social Welfare and trying to make the directory for the referral network.

Currently, there are five townships that we are serving for the child protection Case Management project; Bogalay, Hpyar Pon, Haling Tharyar, Moan Ywar and Than Hpyu zayer. At this township, the statutory cases of the children are solved by DSW and the non statutory cases are supported by the YKBWA Project staff.

Mawlamyaing, Dawei, Hpa-an , Lar Sho, Bago , Hlaing Tharyar and Sagaing are the locations that the referral network has been set up. We have done the service provider mapping at these locations and set the available network with the children who need their supports. We intend that the children will be able to get the services in time where they locate and we aim to have the effective referral system through this referral network.
